Skillset to co-ordinate broadcast studio at skills event

Skillset are to co-ordinate the broadcast studio are at Skill City 2002, the skills and training event at which young people are given the chance to gain 'hands on experience' of over 50 different skills.
Visitors will be able to 'have a go' at working in a television studio, try hair and make-up for television and film, work in a radio studio and commentate on David Beckham`s goal against Greece in the World Cup Qualifiers.
There will also be masterclasses with industry experts talking about a career as a researcher, runner, animator and broadcast engineer.
The four-day event will run from Wednesday 13 to Saturday 16 November in Salford Quays, Salford, Greater Manchester.
80,000 young people are expected to attend the show and try over 100 different skills. The show's aim is to engage corporate Britain, government departments, and the world of education and training by showcasing the importance of skills.
