Canford continue fire resistant cabling range

Canford Audio have recently designed and launched more than half a dozen new Low Fire Hazard (LFH) cabling alternatives.
Canford have been championing the LFH cause within the audio and broadcast industries and designed these products for permanent installations - though they are more than suitable for other locations.
Canford claim confidently that they are among the market leaders in the LFH cabling market, steadily increasing their market share by introducing LFH versions of popular audio, video and data cables. They have just announced the VTS-LFH (video triaxial cable), the DFT-LFH (digital audio foil screened twin) the DKM-LFH (digital audio overall foil screened solid conductor multipair) and the SDV-L-SR (serial digital and analogue low loss sheep resistant).
The 'sheep resistant' version of SDV is intended for longer runs in remote locations, such as for wildlife filming, and was developed directly as a result of cables on one particular shoot being chewed by sheep - eventually causing a failure. This version has a substantially stronger jacket and should put up a far stronger resistance to rogue quadrupeds.
All these cables behave in exactly the same manner as their standard counterparts, but the installation and jacket components are replaced by LFH materials. This does not alter the cables' electrical properties, but does make it slightly less flexible.
