High Point Discovers 'Eden'

Carey Fitzgerald's London-based High Point Films, the theatrical division of High Point Media Group, has plucked world rights outside Ireland and North America for critically acclaimed 'Eden', produced by David Collins for Samson Films and marking the feature debut for director, Declan Recks.
The film was fully financed from Irish sources; the main backers being the Irish Film Board, RTE, and the Broadcast Commission of Ireland.
Focusing on the disintegration of a marriage approaching its tenth anniversary, 'Eden' stars Aidan Kelly and Eileen Walsh, whose performance as the emotionally neglected wife scooped Best Actress at Tribeca Film Festival in April.
It was also awarded top prize for Best Film at Boston Irish Film Festival and has been nominated for Best Director, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Editing at the Irish Film and Television Awards.
Roundly lauded by critics and audiences alike, 'Eden' is distributed in North America by Liberation Entertainment, where it has enjoyed a successful theatrical run since November.

High Point will launch 'Eden' at the European Film Market in Berlin in February.
