Fotoware and IPV join ClipVault revolution

ClipVault.com , the on-line clip distribution service from Print Out Video Publishing, are to announce plans to incorporate Fotoware software and IPV’s Flexible Media Architecture (FMA) into their current production and viewing facility.
This will enable the company to offer their clients a complete online video distribution, download and archive system.
ClipVault.com currently incorporates FMA technology from UK-based IPV to provide remote access to high quality video for professionals. FMA allows remote users to have immediate access to the whole video, whatever their bandwidth, and to frame and timecode accurately.
Fotoware is an archiving system that will take this one step further by allowing users to quickly search for and even preview video footage before deciding to purchase. This has implications for companies who often need to send out large volumes of data, such as staff training videos, that can be archived using Fotoware and then easily distributed and downloaded using Clipvault.com and FMA technology.
The collaboration of the three software packages could signal the end of video material being sent via courier on purchase, instead allowing clients to preview clips online and immediately begin downloading and editing straight to their desktop.
By offering these facilities individually as well as part of a joint service Clipvault.com will also allow clients to pick and choose the level of software involvement according to budget and project demand.
