QuStream To Display Cheetah And Integrity Innovations At The 2008 InterBEE Show

QuStream Corporation will showcase its Cheetah range of routing equipment and Integrity 600 range of broadcast-quality signal processing, conversion and distribution modules through their local dealer, MTV, on Stand 7308 at InterBEE 2008 in Chiba City, Japan, from November 19-21.
QuStream products on display will be:
Integrity 600 modular video and audio processing and distribution system offers high component density and high-level redundancy. The compact FRM603 chassis can accommodate up to 20 signal-processing cards in addition to the control/genlock boards, reducing system cost.
Features include redundant power supply and optional redundant control plus a reference board for two power busses, two Ethernet busses and two reference signals to every card in the system.
The midplane is unique with 3Gbit/s signal busses between two Star slots and all other boards as well as between adjacent boards. The Star board slots permit full bandwidth system integration through fiber or other transmission standards. All boards including video and audio DAs can receive or send signals to other boards for processing, conversion and distribution. Two sets of fans with individual tachometers for early warning of potential fan failure are provided.
Cheetah NE Series with up to 3Gbit/s processing, enabling broadcasters to embrace 1080p as a worldwide mastering format. The Cheetah NE series is QuStream's compact routing range for routing multi-rate HD, SDI, ASI analog video, telemetry and AES/EBU Audio.
The Cheetah NE series adds exceptional value by including the same high-level control and diagnostics features found in all other high-performance Cheetah routers. The Cheetah NE series also incorporates QuStream's premium matrix redundant cross-point options that swap over in case of failure in live on-air situations or other critical distribution applications. Now, even the most budget-conscious installation can afford redundant routing which previously was only to be found in large and expensive routing switchers.
Cheetah DRS, which is the revolutionary evolution of audio routing technology. Offering flexibility and scalability, the DRS audio router raises the bar for distributed routing systems to entirely new realms of possibility. The innovative full-featured 24-bit, 96kHz audio routing system supports Dolby-E and allows mixing of AES and analog sources as well as synchronous and asynchronous audio signals. The versatile DRS is scalable from a 64x64 router in a single rack unit up to 2048x2048 in only 36RU.
PERC2000 - the latest system controller in the QuStream family with 10/100 Ethernet capabilities for controlling routing switchers via an IP network. Regardless of where the routing switchers are located, the system controller can remotely control router functions. PERC2000 is compatible with all existing QuStream routing switchers as well as backward compatible with legacy products using the PRC communications protocol.
