Escape Studios Offer Free Softimage XSI Training Day

Escape Studios has announced an exclusive, hands-on Softimage training session offered at no cost - for one day only.
Delivered by Graham Bell, Softimage Product Specialist, the training will take place on November 7, from 10:30am until 3:30pm.
Escape Studios' Training Development Director, Lee Danskin, added: "It's great to give people the opportunity to experience some of the XSI capabilities. Escape's close ties to the industry mean we can bring this course to people free of charge, therefore furthering their skills and giving them more change of future success. Escape Studios is thrilled to partner with Softimage in this training."
Sanjay Mistry, Territory Manager for UK and Northern Europe at Softimage, said: "We wanted to give something back to our XSI users'. The day is aimed at introducing new or intermediate users to some of the XSI7 functionality."
The training is split into a morning and afternoon session. The morning session will cover deformations and basic ICE-building concepts, including building a simple deformation and controlling the influence of a deformation.
The afternoon session will primarily cover particles: building a simple emission, controlling particles using states and interacting with surfaces.
The morning session takes place between 10:30am and 12:00pm and the afternoon session takes place between 13:00 and 15:30.
