Jonas Odell Brings Arthur Bell Back To Life

Jonas Odelll has created six spots for Bell's Whisky, designed to tickle your funny bone while the whisky warms your cockles.
This series of charming and witty idents, the first campaign for the brand, brings Arthur Bell himself to life, with inspiration for the animation being drawn from the illustration of Bell on the bottle. Fully animated, the spots all have Bell saying a little bit about the brand and then adding his own humorous quip at the end.
To animate Arthur, the process involved a live shoot with an actor walking through all the actions on the storyboards. Arthur was then modelled in 3D and the animation was based on the movements of the actor.
Arthur's spirit can be sampled exclusively on Dave.
