Liverpool ONE Lights Up
Specialist firm, Hawthorn was recently contracted to provide lighting and sound for the official opening of Phase 1 & 2 of the one billion pound Liverpool ONE development by Simeon Aldred of Vibration Group.
Liverpool ONE is a 42-acre development in the city centre including shops, restaurants, cinema, two hotels, a five acre park, 600 apartments and over 3000 parking spaces.
The development aims to help to regenerate the city as part of Liverpool’s year as European City of Culture 2008.
Chavasse Park was officially recently opened by Princess Anne as part of a one-day street festival which ended in a stunning firework finale set to music.
Hawthorn provided sound for all ,000 guests at the royal opening
For the firework display Hawthorn used their LC Martin Line Array for the 10,000 guests and also provided outdoor feature lighting around the park.
Additionally using a combination of City Colours, City Beams and Alpha Spot 1200s, Hawthorns created a stunning light show to compliment the fireworks and music.
Hawthorn's Project Manager Robert Szabo commented: "It was a great day and the buzz around the city was awesome"
