Oxygen DCT Introduces Evolution Pro-Plus LCD Monitors With Added Simulation

UK-based broadcast equipment manufacturer and distributor Oxygen DCT has just launched the Evolution Pro-Plus LCD monitors with added stimulation.
Extending the popular Evolution Pro series, used by the likes of the BBC, ITV and Sky TV, the new Evolution Pro-Plus series pushes the boundaries and is setting new standards for LCD picture monitoring.
Evolution Pro-Plus are LCDs with added stimulation, more features, more functions and better image display. Available in 17" and 24" sizes, the Evo Pro-Plus series users can monitor any analogue and digital video formats, including dual link, 3Gb/s HD (optional), HD, SD, DVI, HDMI, YUV, RGB, Y/C, VGA and composite video.
In addition, these outstanding displays are equipped with stereo analogue audio inputs and outputs and have audio de-embedding, metering and internal stereo speakers.
Users also have many practical facilities such as YUV waveform and vector displays, markers, DPM dual picture monitoring and a suite of colour management tools.
The very high image quality and outstanding colourimetry are achieved through motion adaptive deinterlacing (MADI), eliminating smear and low angle diagonal interpolation (LADI) which prevents jaggles, often associated with lower quality LCDs.
The enormous range of embedded facilities make these displays equally at home on a shoot, in an MCR, for editing or event for gallery monitor walls under network control.
Key user function controls have been assigned to familiar rotary knobs and are also available via easy menus, GPIs or Ethernet connection.
