Hiltron, Stuttgart, Partly Acquired By Dan Technologies Denmark

Dan Technologies, one of Northern Europe's leading suppliers of audio, video and transmission equipment and system solutions, has announced a major new investment with the purchase of a substantial stake in Hiltron GmbH.
Founded in 1979, Hiltron began as a product distributor before expanding into systems design and manufacturing. Now located at Backnang, 30 km northeast of Stuttgart, Hiltron is one of Europe's leading transmission-system integrators and is best-known for its HCS3 universal satcom controller.
Hans Ullrich, Managing Director and majority shareholder of Hiltron GmbH, said: "We have partnered with Danmon Systems Group on several projects for Scandinavian clients. Dan Technologies has a large portfolio of international companies in northern Europe whose activities and requirements blend efficiently with our own. We are very gratified that the company has chosen to invest in our ongoing commercial development."

Hiltron GmbH will be at Stand 4.B89 in the RAI Centre in Amsterdam at IBC2008.
