Romania's ProTV Invests In Autoscript

Autoscript, one of the top teleprompting companies has concluded a significant sale of its systems to Pro TV, Romania's leading commercial broadcaster.
The contract, completed by UK-based Eastern European broadcast specialists Denis Tyler, builds on the provision of Autoscript prompting solutions delivered by Denis Tyler to Pro TV for its new HD broadcast and production facilities last year.
Pro TV's HD studio is being furnished with three W17 HD On-Air Widescreen Talent Monitors designed to work with Autoscript Tft-17 On Camera prompters and three PCI Prompt cards and accessories.
Meanwhile the broadcaster's mobile outside broadcast unit is being equipped with two WinPlus News XBOX solutions for portable plug and play prompting via USB interface.
The OB unit also features four new Tft 17-inch monitors and two additional W17 HD Widescreen On-Air Talent Monitors.
Adrian Tranca, Pro TV Chief Information Officer, commented: "We selected Autoscript's prompting systems after careful thought and analysis and I'm sure that we made the right choice based on our previous experience with the technology and the extremely favourable signals I have already received from our news producers and journalists."

Headquartered in Bucharest, Pro TV is part of the Central European Media Enterprises group.
It operates six national channels, over both satellite and terrestrial, and is the market leader in Romania.
In 2005 it launched the country's first HD channel, ProTV HD, after building a new HD studio and associated HD transmission facilities.
