Gordon Tubbs Named As Autoscript's New Vice President

Autoscript, a leading teleprompting company, has announced that Gordon Tubbs has been appointed to lead its growing North American business.
As Vice President of Autoscript, Tubbs will head the company's North American operation and assume responsibility for the coordination of all sales and marketing activity within the Americas and Japan.
He brings extensive industry experience to the position and joins from the Broadcast and Communications Division of Cannon USA Inc where he was Director of Marketing.
Brian Larter, Worldwide Managing Director of Autoscript, said: "Autoscript aspires to be the best and with Gordon's invaluable market insight and advocacy we know we can continue to achieve that ambition.
"He has demonstrated acute commercial acumen over nearly three decades in the business and his deep understanding of the key American and Japanese broadcast markets will help drive us forward. I am delighted to welcome Gordon to our team."
Tubbs said: "This is a tremendous opportunity for me to build on the substantial presence Autoscript already enjoys in the American and Japanese markets. Tubbs is tasked with enhancing Autoscript's customer service to deliver even higher levels of customer satisfaction. He will work to establish strong relationships with existing and new end users in the region as well as playing a critical role in new product development. He reports to Worldwide Managing Director, Brian Larter.
Gordon Tubbs' career ion the broadcast industry began in 1979.
He joined Canon USA's Broadcast Division in 1984 and held several sales titles including Senior Sales Manager, National Product Manager and Assistant Director of Marketing. Tubbs is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and resides in Seaford, New York.
Established in the UK in 1984, with headquarters in the US and the UK, Autoscript is a leader in the prompting industry. The company provides a complete range of PC-based teleprompters, hardware, PC cards and software and is a member of the Vitec Group.
