LCD Displays Launched

Two new high definition displays have been launched by a UK based broadcast equipment manufacturer.
The latest editions to Oxygen DCT's already 100 strong LCD catalogue are two new dual link high definition LCD displays.
The Evolution Pro OBLM170D and OBLM240D are multi format 17" and 24" displays respectively.
They each have two dual link 4:4:4 signal inputs, which automatically sense standard HD signals or 270Mb/s signals. These displays also handle all analogue formats, VGA, DVI and HDMI as well as having stereo audio inputs and outputs. The extensive set of facilities include safe area markers, VITC display, a waveform monitor and even a 16 channel audio de-embedder with in vision bar graph metering.
Internal speakers are also included as a standard facility, however the de-embedded audio may be monitored externally through the audio outputs.
For added versatility both AC and DC power inlets are included, enabling the display to be used on location as well as fixed installations.
Following market feedback these two LCDs have rotary control knobs simplifying control and menu selection.
Oxygen DCT's Evolution Pro series is now one of largest in the world, giving users a choice of eleven different models. Broadcast users include BBC TV, ITV, Editstore, Suite amongst others.
