Blackmagic Deal For Holdan

A well-known manufacturer of quality video editing products, converters and routers for the post-production and television broadcast industries has appointed a new company to distribute its products.
Blackmagic Design has announced that Holdan Limited is now its United Kingdom and Ireland distribution partner.
The move follows the opening of Blackmagic Design's new EMEA office earlier this year, which - from its UK base - will manage sales, business development, customer service and technical support across the region.
"Sales are continuing to grow significantly in the UK," said Simon Westland, Sales Manager EMEA, Blackmagic Design.
"Holdan have a long standing position in the market, represent a complementary range of manufacturers and are well placed for this exciting period of our development," he said.
Meanwhile, Allan Leonhardsen, Sales Director, Holdan Limited said: "We are delighted by the opportunity to work with Blackmagic Design."
Noting that that he watched them grow into one of the industry’s leading brands, he said: "I believe that our company's experience, knowledge and service levels will support the further projected growth in the UK."
Holdan Limited will commence sales and shipping of Blackmagic Design products immediately and will support the needs of Blackmagic Design's existing nationwide network of resellers. They will carry the full line of Blackmagic Design products including the new DeckLink HD Extreme, Broadcast Videohub, Video Recorder and Mini Converter products showcased at NAB 2008.
Holdan Limited was established in 1996 as a trade distributor of products for the professional audio-visual market and today they distribute products through a network of professional resellers across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
