Filming Resumes On 'Celestial Fantasy'

Filming has resumed in Burgundy, France on The Vintner's Luck', the hotly-anticipated new feature from writer and director Niki Caro.
Caro and co-writer Joan Scheckel's film adaptation of Elizabeth Knox's acclaimed New Zealand novel began production in February in Auckland.
The Vintner's Luck is a story of love, wine and angels. It tells the tale of Sobran, a peasant winemaker in 19th Century France and his life-long relationship with a 'heavenly being'.
Oscar-nominated New Zealand actress, Keisha Castle-Hughes, who received international acclaim in Caro's Whale Rider, reunites with the director for her latest project alongside Belgian actor Jeremie Renier (Atonement), French actor Gaspard Ulliel (A Very Long Engagement) and American actress Vera Farmiga (The Departed).
Belgian actor Jeremie Renier takes the lead role of winemaker Sobran Jodeau, with Keisha Castle-Hughes playing his beautiful wife, Celeste.
French actor Gaspard Ulliel plays the angel, Xas, a curious creature who appears to be more human than divine. Ulliel has appeared in more than 20 feature films including A Very Long Engagement and Hannibal Rising.
American actress Vera Farmiga who plays Baroness Aurora had her first break when she starred opposite the late Heath Ledger in the 1997 television series, Roar.
She has since appeared in a number of independent feature films including Anthony Minghella's Breaking and Entering before coming to worldwide attention in Martin Scorsese's The Departed.
The Vintner's Luck is produced by Laurie Parker, Robin Laing, Niki Caro, Pascal Judelewicz and Ludi Boeken.
A New Zealand-France co-production, The Vintner's Luck is backed by the New Zealand Film Production Fund, the New Zealand Film Commission, the Motion Investment Group (Belgium), OLC Rights Entertainment (Tokyo) in association with Ascension Films, Birka Film Production Sarl and Kortex Sarl.
