Oxygen DCT Distribution Products Available

Oxygen DCT has announced the immediate availability of its new 3Gb/s router and distribution products. The first router, a 16 x 16 ships in mid March to BAFTA ( British Academy of Film and Television Arts) as part of a multi-level audio and video routing system.
This pioneering new technology gives 4:4:4 HDTV users enormous equipment cost savings compared to using dual link routers, halves installation costs and simplifies switching. In addition to 4:4:4 ( 3Gb/s) signals, the router can switch 4:2:2 HDTV (1.485Gb/s) signals currently used by most HDTV systems as well as legacy SDI (270Mb/s) signals, providing unprecedented flexibility as well as a future proofed solution for most HDTV users.
The router is just 1RU and has 16 inputs and outputs, with automatic cable equalisation and adaptive re-clocking. It can be used standalone or as part of a multi-level system. It is IP addressable via a built-in webserver and can be controlled from standard push button control panels, RS-232 or SMNP agent. Redundant power supplies are an option. At just £5490 it is exceptional value and sets the standards in not just leading edge technology, but with price as well.
There are two 3Gb/s HDTV video distribution amplifier racks to compliment the router. The first has eight 3Gb/s VDAs each with 4 outputs, in just 1RU and for users requiring a greater number of outputs there is a version with four 3Gb/s DAs, each with 8 outputs, also in a 1RU format chassis. Redundant power supplies are an option here as well.
