Fremantle Media 'Save A Life' With Action Concept Drama

Action is the name of the game as FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) gets a firm grip on adrenalin charged new drama serial '112 – Saving a Life'.
112 has been created by German production company Action Concept, the makers of the hugely popular 'COBRA 11'.
With a worldwide reputation for explosive, on-screen exploits - having won 4 prestigious Taurus awards - Action Concept’s latest venture, partly financed by FME, promises breathtaking stunts in each and every episode.
Set in an emergency centre, home to all three essential services; fire fighters, paramedics and police all work side by side to save lives on a daily basis, even when it means putting their own on the line.
Action Concept’s, Hermann Joha said: “I am really excited about working with RTL on another format besides COBRA 11 and 112 – Saving a Life takes the genre of daily drama in an entirely new direction. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with FME, which has an excellent reputation in international distribution.”
FME’s Chief Executive Officer, David Ellender said: "Action Concept’s actions really do speak louder than words.
"Their death defying stunts are legendary and the combination with high drama makes this series ‘must see’ TV on a multi-national scale."
Currently in production, the German speaking episodes of 112 are scheduled to be broadcast on RTL with a MIPCOM launch slated, although international interest is already widespread.
