Imagineer's Mokey now available to rent

Imagineer Systems have introduced a rental scheme for Mokey, the software tool used to separate foreground elements from a video or film clip.
The scheme is designed to provide the broadcast and film communities with a "simple and cost-effective" way of using the product.
Mokey Studio Edition can be rented for around $150.00 per day, while Soho Edition is available for $300.00 per day. The rental scheme also includes the ability to purchase a floating license for increased access to the software.
Allan Jaenicke, Managing Director, Imagineer Systems, said: "After making major product developments on Mokey in the past couple of months, we wanted to ensure that it was available to all types of customers, including the smaller facilities who find Mokey incredibly useful but may not currently have the budget to purchase the product. This scheme is easy to use, flexible, and will allow people to see the benefits of using Mokey so that they can then go on to purchase the full product."
Mokey version 2 is now available in two editions and both will be available to rent from www.mokey.com .
Technical project support and a floating license option are also available for weekly and monthly rentals. Customers will be able to download an order form to send off payment and all major credit cards will be accepted.
Mokey v2 Studio Edition is aimed at video post-production facilities, has all the features of Mokey v2 and works with Standard Definition clips (PAL/NTSC). Soho Edition is aimed at post-production facilities working with SD, HD and film, is resolution-independent and can import Cineon and DPX files.
