New online recruitment and production broker, productionwizard.com, is promising to revolutionise the production industry, delivering the next step up from the traditional online production database and bringing producers and suppliers closer than ever before.
This smart service uses the latest technology to offer a seamless market making process, matching suppliers to their next job within a few keystrokes and saving time and money.
Productionwizard.com aims to move ahead of the traditional production database by offering a new approach to finding and bidding for jobs online. Once registered, a facility house, freelancer, crewing company, transport firm or any other type of supplier will receive immediate and up-to-the-minute information by SMS and email, notifying them only about jobs specifically in their skill set and location.
The system then allows the supplier to agree a price and receive the job confirmation direct from the buyer within minutes, saving both time and money and putting an end to the prolonged exchange of emails.
“We are to media websites what Sky Plus is to video recorders,” said Chairman, Timothy Knatchbull. “The production community works day-to-day with often cutting edge technology, and yet in their own backyard they have had to manage productions using unwieldy media directories offering haphazard response times. The service is free to join, with no monthly or annual subscription. The only cost is when submitting a quote for a job, at a fee of £1 a pitch.
The service goes live "imminently" and is offering £10 of free credits to any supplier who signs up by the October 31.
