Top Industry Leaders Confirmed For Next Week's CommunicAsia2007

Communications industry leaders from throughout the world will converge on Singapore next week, to deliver key visionary presentations at CommunicAsia2007.
The prestigious list of speakers will include Dr Tero Ojanperä, EVP and CTO, Nokia and Sukhinder Singh-Cassidy, VP Asia Pacific & Latin America Operations, Google.
Joining them will be other major international players, including Neeraj Roy, MD and CEO, Hungama Mobile, Allen Lew, CEO, Singapore, SingTel, Dr Suh Young-kil, President & CEO, TU Media Corp, Ricky Wong, Co-Founder and Chairman, City Telecom (HK) Ltd and Dato' Abdul Wahid Omar, Group CEO, Telekom Malaysia.
The focus of the CommunicAsia2007 Summit centres on the Convergence issue, covering the 'hot' applications such as IPTV and mobile TV and network issues like fixed mobile convergence and next-generation networks. Six conference tracks including, Mobile, Broadband, NGN, Convergence, Satellite, Wireless Broadband will examine critical issues and potentials in the Digital Era for the Summit, providing attendees with an opportunity to understand how they can tap into these trends to gain market share and to grow new revenue streams.
Rupert Owen, UK-based director of CommunicAsia organisers, Overseas Exhibition Services said: "CommunicAsia remains the choice event for many technology and media companies, regionally and globally, to introduce their products to a wider audience. The depth and breadth of our conference topics and exhibition coverage has no equal in the region - and the strong visitor numbers year after year bear testimony to this fact."
International companies continue to make their presence felt at CommunicAsia. To date, well-established companies such as Chunghwa Telecom, Ericsson, Huawei Technologies, Infosys, Nokia Siemens Networks, LG Electronics, Samsung, Tandberg Television, ST Electronics, Infosys and Aspect Software, have confirmed their attendance.
This year, some 2,400 companies will be spread across eight halls at the Singapore Expo to showcase their innovative Digital Convergence technology. Global network giant, Ericsson, will be showcasing mobile and interactive TV, as well as new developments in HSPA technology. Leading next-generation network provider, Huawei Technologies, will be launching new products that include a HSDPA handset that can act as a USB HSDPA high-speed modem for notebooks and PCs, thereby enabling seamless video-streaming and broadband-like Internet access.
