IDX Endura Receive Accolades From Major US Industry Magazines At NAB

The IDX Endura Elite battery system received best-of-show honours from three major US industry magazines at NAB2007.
Selecting from among over 1,500 companies attending the show, TV Technology, Videography and Television Broadcast magazines all named it as among most innovative products. The dual Power Cartridge design provides 142Wh for extended run times even on ENG/EFP high-definition video cameras and is the highest capacity Lithium-ion battery that is flight friendly, allowing easy carriage on airlines.
TV Technology presented its Star award (Superior Technology Award Recipient), now in its eighth year, to the Elite battery system, noting it is among the "pre-eminent technological innovations available to the media industry."
The awards are now in their eighth year, the magazine naming 40 companies as award winners at the show.
Videography presented IDX with its annual Vidy award; one of 17 awards given at the show, and Television Broadcast presented its Top Innovation Award, awarded to 19 recipients. "To receive an award, a technology is evaluated by our panel of editors and industry experts," said Doug Krainman, media video group vice president and group publishing director for NewBay Media, owners of both Videography and Television Broadcast. "The winning technologies reflect innovation and engineering excellence."

Elite batteries comply with civil aviation security regulations, including IATA and UN A45, and can be carried without the use of special containers and warning labels. They also comply with European RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) standards.
