E\T\C Acquires Christie Road 25k Projectors

Projection specialists E\T\C UK is increasing its stock of high power video projectors with the acquisition of Christie Roadie 25k projectors (‘Roadies’).
ETC UK has also taken delivery of Christie’s new Roadster S+20K projection system, a mid-range projector, purpose-built for the event-staging community.
Andy Joyes, E\T\C UK's Video Hire Manager was impressed with the performance of the new projectors: "The Christie 20K’s are bright and offer razor-sharp images for both video and graphics applications. They have a high panel resolution meeting most content requirements, a very compact footprint and deliver an extremely high output. The Roadie 25K is also a stunning projector and has already been booked out on several of out forthcoming shows."
Continuing on from E\T\C UK’s recent success with 360 degree animated projections using its proprietary ‘OnlyView’ control software, the Christies are already earmarked for a series of corporate events and awards shows.
E\T\C UK’s MD Ross Ashton commented: "Using a combination of Christie hardware and OnlyView software, we can supply large scale high resolution video images combined with exceptionally versatile image manipulation.

Gavin Chatfield, Christie's Market Development Manager for Rental Staging, is equally delighted that E\T\C UK has followed other E\T\C International offices by promoting Christie's purpose-built event-staging projectors to its clients: "Building on the success and wealth of expertise that E\T\C UK has gained in the high-end slide projection market, we’re sure they will now be breaking new boundaries for large image video applications at outdoor events. E\T\C UK renowned for its projections onto Buckingham Palace and other iconic buildings including Tate Britain, The National Gallery, Nelson’s column and many more, is now finding the video market going from strength to strength.
OnlyView was recently used on the Doha Asian Games Opening and Closing ceremonies to great effect, running multiple Christie video and PIGI film projectors.
