Miranda Technologies To Showcase Kaleido-X Processor At NAB

Miranda Technologies has announced that its new Kaleido-X multi-room, multi-image processor, which allows unlimited signal repetition over eight monitors, will be shown at NAB for the first time.
The Kaleido-X can display any of its 96 HD/SD/Analogue inputs, any number of times, at different resolutions and sizes up to full screen, over eight high resolution displays without blocking or grouping restrictions.
"Kaleido-X offers unmatched signal flexibility, and does not have any awkward display limitations for operators," said Louis Caron, product manager at Miranda.
"People who haven't seen the latest generation of multi-image technology may be astonished by the image quality. We believe it delivers the richest and most detailed display ever for the most critical monitoring applications."
All the multi-image outputs can be grouped to create large, highly integrated monitoring systems. Alternatively, the displays can be controlled independently for multi-room environments, using one or more remote control panels.
Fast manual control of the processor is offered by a remote panel or mouse button. Layout configurations can be changed instantly, and users can dynamically zoom one source larger for quality control, or audio monitoring of an on-screen source.
The processor also offers unprecedented audio performance, with the ability to monitor up to 2304 channels of audio, including embedded, discrete AES, or discrete analog.
Kaleido-X also offers an integral routing capability, with switching of 96 unprocessed inputs to 48 HD/SD outputs for feeding baseband high quality monitors, test equipment and master control or production switchers.
