'LazyTown' Wins International Children's Programme

'LazyTown' a children’s television series programme, was this year’s winner in the International Children’s Programme category for a BAFTA award.
The show is shot using Grass Valley Viper Filmstream cameras in HDStream mode.
LazyTown, which is produced in Iceland by its creator and star Magnús Scheving, is an entrancing blend of live action and computer-generated characters. Shot entirely using green screen techniques, the production company chose the Viper camera to get the sharpest, cleanest images possible which are fed into the graphics systems to achieve live composites.
The first series of LazyTown is currently on air in a total of 103 territories, including USA, Canada, South America, UK, Scandinavia, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia, Middle East and Asia. A second series is currently in production.
Grass Valley is delighted that its Viper cameras have brought Sportacus, Stephanie and the others to such sparkling life, and congratulates everyone involved with LazyTown on the deserved success for this innovative production.
