DK-Technologies Supplies Kaurus With Alpermann+Velte Timecode Equipment

DK-Technologies (UK) has supplied Post Production and Broadcast re-seller and systems integrator Kaurus Ltd. with a large order for Alpermann+Velte timecode equipment, which DK distributes in the UK and Ireland.
Kaurus was established in 2002 by brothers Peter and Paul Sutton, both of whom have over 20 years experience in the Film, Post-Production and Broadcast industries. The company acts as an independent technical solutions provider and covers a wide gamut of specialist equipment and systems for clients dealing in areas such as Telecine, digital intermediate projection screen grading and screening theatres.
Director Peter Sutton commented: "We were asked to source the units on behalf of the BBC, so we approached DK-Technologies because they are the local distributor. This is the first time we have dealt with DK and we were delighted with the level of communication and support they exhibited, ensuring our client's tight timescales were met."
Alpermann+Velte was established in 1972 as an engineering office for electronics for industrial applications. In 1976 it began developing and producing timecode products and systems under the guidance of two of its founders, certified engineers Matthias Wehr and Bernd Velte.
Currently, the company boasts a wide range of timecode, studio clock and studio timer products covering both the analogue and digital markets. It also develops and manufactures timecode chips and supplies customers with tailor-made systems for their specific applications.
