JCA.TV Completes Work On Barbie Movie '12 Dancing Princesses'

JCA.TV have just completed work to provide deliverable broadcast material for Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses' - the ninth movie in the Barbie series, for leading global media company, Entertainment Rights, on behalf of Mattel Inc.
JCA.TV coodinated the manufacture of versions of the movie in 28 different languages, including 16:9 and 4:3 ratios, 625 and 525 standards, in addition to the productions of various promotional materials and trails in a similar number of languages.
Material arrived in a variety of ways, from physical delivery via DigiBeta, DAT and BetaSP, to some digital material delivered as files over the internet. This required production management along with material re-versioning to produce the final language master tapes.
Rob Dunbar, Head of Technical, Entertainment Rights commented: "We are delighted to be continuing our long association with JCA.TV on the ninth of this very successful series of films. Their experience and professionalism enables us to complete a highly complex project to a very demanding schedule."
JCA.TV which specialises in content replication, has seen a huge increase in High Definition Quality control work, especially from European clients with need for Dolby E encoded 5.1 surround sound.
The level of interest is significant and has been funded through JCA's parent company TVP Group - jointly owned by Nick Pannaman and Simon Kay.
