Ascent Media Appoints Henderson As Managing Director

Ascent Media Network Services have announced that it has appointed Roger Henderson as Managing Director of its content distribution business in Europe.
Henderson, who will be based in London, will have operational, strategic, and financial responsibility for network origination and connectivity services in the region.

Henderson has a broad track record in the television industry, having managed high profile technology suppliers and more recently served as co-founder of a video content development company. From 1996 to 2003 Henderson was President and CEO of Chyron Corporation, a publicly quoted equipment provider to the broadcast and professional video sectors. From 1983-1996 Henderson filled a range of technical and managerial roles at Pro-Bel Software, culminating in the position of Managing Director. During this time he helped the automation company develop one of the industry's first Media Asset Management products. He was also was a key player in the execution of the sale of Pro-Bel to Chyron.
