McCaskill to join Ascent Media's European team of consultants

Ascent Media Consulting Services have announced that Allen McCaskill has joined its European team of consultants, technologists and analysts as Senior Manager, with a primary focus on the implementation of multi-platform distribution strategies.
McCaskill will provide both broadcast and non-broadcast clients alike with the real world experience, knowledge, and analytical capabilities to properly define objectives and make precise and reliable business decisions.
McCaskill’s wealth of experience spans a variety of electronic media delivery platforms, including IP applications for financial services, consumer energy providers and mobile phone operators. In the M&E (media and entertainment) sector, his experience ranges from producing the first video on CD products in Europe to building IP delivered, brand-led B2C (business-to-consumer) channels.

McCaskill has more than 20 years experience in the digital media sector, and in that time has developed an unparalleled knowledge in delivering compelling audio-visual experiences through interactive technologies.
His previous experience has seen him head up iTV/IPTV software product vendor Mindhouse Ltd, and as founder of MMS services provider Shot4cash Ltd, the company behind the launch of the UK’s first independent Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) asset service.
