DVDA UK select Timbers to oversee global development

Dedicated to fostering the development and application of DVD and related technologies across the globe, Will Timbers has been tasked to formalise the administrative side of the DVD Association in the UK to secure its trans-Atlantic presence prior to European expansion in the near future.
UK member of the DVDA board Bob Auger commented: "With the arrival of next generation DVD formats, we need the DVDA to provide insight, expertise and ensure best practice for these new technologies around the world."
Timbers added: "I'm excited about joining and looking forward to getting involved with the DVDA. It is a challenging time with the development of the new blue laser disc formats, and alternative delivery options such as IPTV, video iPods and video to mobile phones. Hopefully one that will provide great opportunities for DVDA members."
Timbers is the strategic and administrative head of his own company Pink Pigeon, one of the UK's leading creative authoring houses founded in 2002.
