Canford launch new HDTV interconnect family

Canford Audio have launched several new interconnection products this year, with the emphasis being upon combining cost effectiveness and innovative engineering design.
The new range has been designed and manufactured by Canford to reliably transmit Base band, 270Mb/s SDV and uncompressed 1.5Gb/s HDTV signals and employs unique connector technology throughout. Precision one-piece contacts in the MUSA/BNC adaptors accurately match impedance within the panels. Gold plated beryllium copper is used to achieve the highest mechanical and electrical performance.
To overcome the 'binding' effect often associated with silver plated MUSA, an extremely hard wearing and corrosion resistant Bright Nickel finish has been introduced for both panel and U Link connector bodies. Insertion and withdrawal are now smooth and consistent over the operational life of the panel, which Canford claim will never need cleaning to maintain performance or appearance.
Canford's MUSA patch panels are available in a variety of standard and custom configurations with up to 24 connector pairs per row. 1U and 2U panels have 2 rows of MUSA connectors while the 3U panels hold 4 rows. Flush mounting and recessed versions are available and combined MUSA / B Gauge Audio panels are offered in a number of combinations. Lacing bars are fitted as standard.
Panels are offered as standard in Dawn Grey or Black without logo, custom panel colours and markings are available to special order subject to quantity.
