Preco to launch two new Dolby E monitors at IBC

At this years IBC exhibition in Amsterdam, Preco will officially launch two eagerly anticipated Dolby E monitors from Bel Digital Audio.
In environments where available space is at a minimum, but you need to monitor multi channel audio, the new BMA1 E8SHD will solve the problem. This easy to operate unit offers Dolby E and AC3 decoding and monitoring. Inputs are from HD-SDI or SD-SDI, and the decoding allows audio monitoring of any channel pair, and continuous visual monitoring of 8 channels on 26 segment LED bargraphs.
In this multi-channel and high definition world, the BM A2-E8SHD monitor and decoder from Bel is a one stop monitoring solution box. The pair of auto sensing HD or SD –SDI inputs allow monitoring any embedded audio signal from 8 channel Dolby E and Dolby Digital signals, with a valuable benefit of a HD/SD-SDI re-clocked output. There are also four pairs of AES and analogue inputs
Due to the confusion of embedded audio groups and subgroups, the key design factor was simplicity. All functions have their own control, with minimal reliance on many menus and sub menus. This means that an operator will easily be able to operate the unit and, at a glance, can see what is being monitored.
