FOR-A to celebrate 35th anniversary at IBC 2006

Celebrating its 35th anniversary at IBC 2006, FOR-A will be showing its full range of products aimed at broadcasters and post houses - including leading-edge video switchers, frame-rate converters, frame synchronisers, colour correctors, vision mixers and virtual studios software.
New products making their European debut at IBC include:
HANABI HVS-500HS video switcher � a compact, self-contained HD/SD video switcher, which combines the easy operation and powerful features of FOR-A�s HANABI series. Accepting HD, SD, HDV and DV formats, it comes with 10-bit, 4:2:2 internal processing and is well suited for applications such as editing, studio production, mobile production, up-link vans, live production, broadcast television and live staging.
FRC-7000 frame-rate converter - an HD frame-rate converter with motion compensation processing technology and scene cut detection, which helps broadcasters and production companies produce superb HD conversions.
FA-9000 frame synchroniser. Dubbed 'The Processor', the FA-9000 is an HD/SD frame synchroniser which goes beyond the realms of a typical signal processor. It supports all video signal formats and comes with options for HD/SD up and down conversion, colour correction and Dolby E decoding.
FOR-A is also showing other products from its successful HD/SD switchable range of 1M/E and 2M/E mixers, colour correctors and image stabilisers. These include:
VPS-700 GINGA vision mixer - following the highly successful launch of the VPS-700 GINGA 1 M/E SD vision mixer at IBC 2005, IBC sees the demonstration of more options, including analogue inputs/outputs.
DigiStorm HD/SD Virtual studio and real-time computer graphics - in conjunction with its partners, Brainstorm Multimedia, FOR-A will also be showing its state-of-the-art on-air graphics solutions.
