SOUNDTRACS AN INSTANT SUCCESS

INSTANT Records, Munich has recently completed a state of the art mixing room, which has been completely redesigned and now features a 16 fader, 160 channel Soundtracs DPC-11 digital production console incorporating an MFX3 editor and extra TFT screens.
The new DPC-11 room has handled various exciting projects including on-air design for MTV Europe, TV commercial for ‘Paridienne’ and Television commercials for both Audi and BMW including the presentation for the new BMW Z8 in video and CD Rom format.
Bernd Scholl, founder of Instant Records said: “The DPC-11 offers a great variety of possibilities in working with the desk. We were looking for a console that gives us the possibility not only to do post production but also music recording and mix down and we found that the DPC-11 combined these perfectly.
“A major point for the decision also was the interface to the Fairlight system. The console is the heart of the studio and for this reason we needed to be as open as possible in terms of the integration of any other studio equipment.”
