MILLER EXTENDS WARRANTY TO THREE YEARS

CAMERA support manufacturers Miller have extended their three-year warranty, which currently applies to three years parts and labour service on Arrow 50 news gathering systems, to include the complete Miller Fluid Head and Tripod range.
Miller Managing Director, Grant Clementson said: “A revolution in our manufacturing process over the last four years has significantly refined component tolerances and hence product quality. By investing heavily in 3D design software and in-house CNC lathes and mills, we have fully exploited CAD/CAM technology and its ability to deliver tight tolerances in a repeatable environment.”
Miller has also installed a CMM (co-ordinate measuring machine) for micron-level tolerance testing of components and to anticipate ‘out-of-spec’ tool wear. Clementson added that this process led to greater precision and durability in assembled products and provides cost benefits due to higher yield rates.
Miller will be demonstrating their full range of products, including the new HD tripod system, at IBC 2000.
