PRO-BEL JOINS DOLBY E PARTNERSHIP

PRO-BEL, providers of broadcast equipment, have joined the Dolby E partnership and their logo will now be displayed with other well-known broadcast manufacturers on the Dolby Partnership panel.
Dolby E is a compressed digital audio format for multichannel sound, tailored to the specific needs of post-production and master control systems handling the transmission of multichannel and surround-sound.
Dolby and Pro-Bel engineers carried out joint tests to show that Pro-Bel products, already in the field, are compliant with the particular requirements of Dolby E signals.
Pro-Bel can now claim that their TX series of TX310 and TX320 Master Control Switchers are compliant with Dolby E and can supply against current or future requirements in this area.
The agreement means that Pro-Bel will continue to work with Dolby to maintain and improve their technology.
