Stagetec Aurus on tour with Aspen

Aspen Media, UK distributor for Stagetec, has taken the Aurus digital mixing console on tour for a three venue Roadshow.
Intended primarily for live operations such as live studio broadcasts, outside broadcasts, theatre and concert applications, the most recent developments to the Aurus have increased its capabilities significantly extending its appeal into post-production.
The events started on March 7 in London at the Royal Institute of British Architects near BBC Broadcasting House, moving to the Kew Bridge Steam Museum in Brentford next day, where complimentary family passes were handed out to participants; and then travelling to Manchester and the Filmworks cinema on March 10.
The sessions began with an overview of the system architecture, followed by a review of the routing, mixing and processing functionality of the Aurus. The console was very well received by the participants and the demonstrations ended with lively open questions and answers.
The Stagetec will be showing the Aurus in Europe at Prolight+Sound, March 20 – April 1 in Frankfurt and AES Paris May 20-23. The Aurus will also be demonstrated at NAB in Las Vegas April 22-27.
