Autodesk reseller Kinovox taps into the Swedish market

Kinovox, Autodesk’s systems reseller of five years, has announced that it has opened a new office in Sweden where it will sell and support Autodesk’s Media and Entertainment system products.
The opening follows Kinovox’s success in Norway and Denmark where it sold three Discreet Lustre digital grading systems last year. The new branch will help Autodesk increase its sales in Europe.
Kinovox’s Peter Ludolph, Sales Manager for operations, has come from Denmark to set up the Swedish arm. Having overseen sales of the complete range of Autodesk systems products to the film and video industry in Denmark, he brings with him a wealth of experience which will help Kinovox to conquer the local market in Sweden.
“We’re looking forward to the challenge of breaking into the Swedish market. Our great success in Norway and Denmark sets us in good pace, as there are many lessons that we can learn from our operations there,” said Peter Ludolph. “Our first hurdle is to employ an experienced operations manager who will take over and drive the Swedish office. We will then focus on targeting businesses in the broadcast and post-production market, offering them a value added service.”
Patrick Jocelyn, director – EMEA, Autodesk Media and Entertainment, added: “Kinovox as a company has over 60 years experience in the market. It has built an excellent reputation selling Autodesk’s products in Norway and Denmark. We’re confident that it will do the same in Sweden.”
