Pixels UK announce agreement with MedeaWiz

Pixels UK Ltd specialists in computer display technology and digital video systems, has announced its latest representation agreement with US multimedia hardware solution manufacturer, MedeaWiz Inc, to distribute the new DV-68 Digital Media Player.
The product is designed to be a very easy-to-use and low-cost solution for many professional AV, digital signage or interactive kiosk applications.
Norman Garland, Managing Director of Pixels UK, said: ‘We are delighted to be distributing the new DV-68 digital media player from MedeaWiz after having so much success with its predecessor, the DV-66. We sold hundreds of these to professional AV systems and installation companies who use them in museums, retail advertising, theme and leisure complexes and exhibitions. The DV-68 has many of the same features as the DV-66 plus the ability to play the latest MPEG-4 and DivX digital media. Its very low cost makes it ideal for even the most basic and cost-conscious digital AV installation."
The DV-68 will play many digital video and audio formats including MPEG-4, DivX, MPEG-2, VOB, DAT, MPEG-1, JPEG and MP3 – all from a CompactFlash (CF) memory card - so there are no moving parts to wear out or fail. The DV-68 can be set up to play continuously from power-on or to be user controlled via a keypad, resistive touch-screen, PIR motion sensor or RS-232 commands from a show controller. It connects easily to any PAL, NTSC or VGA display monitor and stereo audio system via industry-standard connectors. Media for the DV-68 requires no special preparation or encryption and is simply dragged-and-dropped onto the CF card.
