STUDER LAUNCH ON-AIR 1000 DIGITAL MIXER
STUDER have announced the launch of their On-Air 1000 Digital Mixing Console.
The unit is designed to bring reliable digital technology and the ‘Touch'n'Action’ operating concept to a lower priced segment of the market.
Developed for production and live broadcasting, the mixer features 10 channel faders and two master faders and a range of interfaces for ease of integration into an automation system.
Further potential applications include mobile and location production and broadcasting.
The Studer On-Air 1000 is closely related to its larger sibling the Studer On-Air 2000, the technology and operating concept have been adapted for the Studer On-Air 1000. The 10 channel faders and two master faders retain the most important operating elements and adjacent readouts.
Four incremental pots beneath the display and mixer settings can be personalized and stored, each operator can easily adjust functions that are only used occasionally. Management of user access rights reduces the risk of human error during production and live transmission, and can be set up to suit the experience and skills of the operator.
The Studer On-Air 1000 is available in two different versions. One version offers five stereo line inputs and two digital inputs and is designed for analogue environments, while the version offering five digital inputs and two stereo line inputs is more appropriate for predominantly digital environments. All digital inputs incorporate a sampling frequency converter and can thus accept digital signals with sampling rates between 32 and 54 kHz. Both versions include three microphone inputs, giving a total of ten inputs each, available directly on ten faders.
Studer based in Switzerland offer turnkey system solutions and complete broadcast system installations based on a wide range of proprietary products. These include complex digital audio routing systems, digital mixing consoles and digital mixing systems using the very latest in digital technology.
