Manfrotto focuses on the ENG lens market

Manfrotto is breaking further into the professional ENG lens market with the launch of a three-strong range of zoom remote controls.
The 524 range uses the same popular pan handle design of the 523PRO and 522P remotes but also comes with a built-in 90cm, 8-pin cable to automatically adapt to ENG lenses.
Available as the 524AX for Angenieux, 524CN for Canon and 524FN for Fujinon lenses, an optional 10cm 524DPT adaptor cable is also available for the 12-pin configuration found on some Fujinon lens models.
The range features a professional thumb zoom wheel that comfortably fits the hand for fine adjustment and smooth zooming. The stepless zoom control speed dial allows shooting versatility, giving the user the ability to pre-select a zoom speed or change the zoom speed mid-shot.
In addition, the telescopic ban bar allows the user to choose the most comfortable working position for their needs while the integration of the remote controller into it ensures a sturdy attachment, eliminating all mechanical issues.
And to avoid users breaking timecodes, the 524 includes a RET return video function that allows the operator to play back the last five seconds of recorded material with the cameras automatically cueing up the tape to the last frame.
The 524 range is available at £221.28 excluding VAT and £260 including VAT.
