ITV appoints Controller of ITVi and Dotcom

ITV has appointed Ann Cook to the position of Controller of ITV interactive and ITV.com.
Reporting to Tom Betts, Chief Operating Officer of ITV Consumer, Cook will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic vision for the growth of ITV’s revenue through the interactive and dotcom channels.
She will work alongside the Commercial Development Director Jane Marshall and the Product Development Director Kevin Gooding to roll out commercially focused, compelling content that complements ITV’s linear broadcast channels. She will also work within the industry to strengthen ITV’s relationships and to develop the profile of ITV Consumer.
Cook was previously Director of International Client Relations at Associated Press, managing around 2,000 client relationships outside North America across the media. Prior to this, she was Managing Director of the International Division off American media research and consultancy company, Frank N. Magid Associates.
Betts said: “Ann’s breadth of experience in managing different media businesses will be invaluable to us as we begin to integrate itv.com with ITVi. Ann will provide the drive for both businesses as part of a portfolio that also now includes ITV Mobile and ITV Local, playing a key role in the next phase of our growth plan.”
