PRO-BEL LAUNCH NEW 1U ICON FRAME

PRO-BEL, a division of the Chyron Corporation, have launched a new 1U frame for their high end ICON modular digital processing system.
The new 1U frame is designed to provide comprehensive distribution, routing, processing, mixing and keying functions.
It is capable of housing three ICON modules, the 1U frame suits many small, localised applications where the capacity of the standard 3U frame is not required.
The new frame accommodates both modular processing cards as well as a variety of snap-in rear connector panels typical of the ICON system. Another feature introduced with the new 1U frame is the high-capacity removable power supply module that can be backed up external, allowing it to be exchanged without powering down.
Power supply voltages and temperatures are monitored via a status relay, as well as by the optional COSMOS control system, Pro-Bel’s remote status monitoring and control system.
