RED POSTS QUESTIONS FOR BAILEYS IDENTS
RED, suppliers for the television, film and digital media industries, have posted some provocative questions for new Baileys idents for Channel 4.
January 10 saw the start of a new series of 'Sex And The City' accompanied by some seductive idents for Baileys. The idents were produced by Channel 4's in-house Creative Services Department and posted on Henry at Red.
The majority of the idents were shot in camera and feature close-up shots of ice-cubes clashing together in a glass, waves of Baileys pouring over the top and swirling around enticingly. In each ident, a series of provocative questions dissolves through the waves of Baileys.
Tim Rudgard, Henry Artist at Red, comped the backgrounds and created the text, ensuring it blended and reacted seamlessly with the background. The idents were off-lined at Red by Dan Andrews and graded by Simone Grattarola.
Red completed a number of different sets of idents to run with each episode of the new series. Each set consists of a 15 second opener, two 7.5 second teasers either side of the commercial break and a 10 second close. (CD)
