ZONE VISION AND DISCOVERY RENEW CONTRACT

ZONE Vision, the London-based thematic channel producers and distributors, have renewed their existing contract with Discovery Communications Europe for a further five years.
The re-negotiated contract incorporates the channels: Discovery Channel, Discovery Channel + 1 hour, Animal Planet, Discovery Civilisations, Discovery Sci-Trek, Discovery Travel, and Adventure in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Russia and other CIS States.
Under the current deal between the two companies, Zone Vision negotiates the carriage of Discovery channels across Central and Eastern Europe.
Commenting on the deal, Chris Wronski, Zone Vision’s President and CEO, said: “We are delighted to renew our long standing relationship with one of our longest and oldest clients. And we look forward to introducing all Discovery channels into new territories.” (CD)
