New BAL 4 in 1 SDI Multiviewer to be launched at IBC

BAL Broadcast has extended its Multiviewer range with a compact, low-cost, 4 in 1 SDI Multiviewer.
The latest addition to the range, SVMV010, complements the existing 421A and BALPRISM multiviewers. It is in the well-known BALBOX format and is intended for OB use where space is at a premium. It can be used stand-alone or in a 19” tray, when 4 BALBOXES can be fitted. The 421A continues to provide excellent value when dynamic under monitor displays are required and for high-resolution viewing BALPRISM is a 16 input (SDI or Composite) multiviewer designed for use with SXGA /SDI monitors and projectors.
The BALBOX range of stand-alone multi-function modules will be on show - the latest additions are in transporting multiple SDI signals over Cat5 cable and inserting data into SDI.
The BAL Presentation products of clocks and logo generators will be demonstrating their station branding capabilities.
The popular Toolkit products will be on view. This range of products includes hum-eliminators for audio and video (both analogue and digital), cable clones for HD-SDI and SD-SDI and passive splitters for both SDI and AES.
The DRX (digital/analogue) and 2800series (analogue) ranges of rack-mounted multifunction cards – including the latest BBCC module, which allows four BALBOX functions to be “mixed and matched” on a single DRX card will be displayed.
