DIGIGRAM EUROPE CREATE NEW SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR

DIGIGRAM, innovators in networking solutions for digital audio and remote management, have announced the formation of Digigram Europe.
The new business unit will provide sales and customer support for both Digigram and Aztec Radiomedia products in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Digigram, which acquired Aztec Radiomedia in December 1999, will headquarter Digigram Europe in Strasbourg, France. Led by Managing Director Patrick Piquet, Digigram Europe will offer developers, systems integrators and end-users a single point of contact.
Digigram President, Philippe Girard-Buttoz, said: "Being responsive to our customers' needs has always been a priority for us. Consolidating our European sales and support operations is a natural evolution of our company's structure following the Aztec Radiomedia acquisition."
Digigram Europe's Managing Director Piquet joined Aztec Radiomedia in July 2000. The mechanical engineering graduate previously was Sales Director of the Embedded Computing and Supply Chain Division at Cap Gemini-Ernst & Young for two years. Before that Piquet was a Department Director at Digital Equipment France.
Most of Digigram Europe's team members were previously part of either Digigram or Aztec Radiomedia staff with additional hires to address several growing market sectors. (GB)
