Digidesign and IK Multimedia offer free update to SampleTank 2 SE

Digidesign and IK Multimedia have announced a free update to SampleTank 2 SE from SampleTank SE — a sample playback plug-in that is part of the Music Production Enhancement Suite software and plug-in bundle included with all new Digidesign Pro Tools|HD and Pro Tools LE systems.
A SampleTank 2 SE software CD will be packaged with future Pro Tools systems. Until then, registered owners of SampleTank SE can download a free update to SampleTank 2 SE at www.sampletank.com/digist2free.html.
Sample Tank 2 SE is a powerful sample playback module providing quick access to a host of included samples as well as the ability to easily move between them. Acting as a plug-in within the Pro Tools mixer, it enables users to get started creating in Pro Tools immediately. SampleTank 2 SE provides a variety of new creative options and features, including three synth/sample engines for playable instruments and loops, 32 high-quality built-in DSP effects, and much more.
IK Multimedia is also offering a discounted upgrade to their full version of SampleTank 2 XL from the free version bundled with every Pro Tools system.
