Framestore CFC names new colourist

Framestore CFC have a new colourist on board their award winning Telecine team, with Ben Rogers joining Dave Ludlam, Steffan Perry and Matt Turner.
The increased team size reflects a period of success and growth for Framestore CFC's TK operators, with the company's output already enhanced by the introduction of the new Spirit 4K scanner in September 2004.
Rogers has gained a broad range of experience over his eight years working in post. Starting as a runner for VTR, he learned some of his craft at The Machine Room, as well as an earlier stint at Framestore CFC, where he worked as a VT operator for two years. This gave him the opportunity to learn the elements of Telecine work, in which he trained up in his spare time.
Having put a reel together, Rogers joined the London office of Condor Ltd, and during two years with them he worked at a number of their European sites.
Grabbing the chance for further travel, Rogers then spent two and a half years in New Zealand, working for Oktobor-SilverScreen, and becoming their Senior Colourist.
His return to the UK this spring has coincided neatly with Framestore CFC's planned expansion, and the TK team were pleased to welcome back an old colleague.
Rogers' recent work includes Sony Australia's campaign, 'Tails', set in Brazil, and JWT Houston's most recent Shell Helix international brand campaign.
Recent work for Framestore CFC includes spots for Love director Corrine Stubi, and another for Sherbert.
