Kramer UK to demonstrate Sierra kit at Broadcast Production Show

Kramer Electronics UK Ltd will show the Sierra Video Systems Lassen 3232HDS and Lassen 1616HDS HD/SDI DVB-ASI routing switchers with analogue balanced stereo at the Broadcast Production Show, London.
The 3232HDS and 1616HDS models pass both HD and SDI/DVB-ASI video signals with analogue audio. "We are excited to expand our HD offerings with these new Lassen models," said Nigel Hodgson, Managing Director, Kramer Electronics UK Ltd. "The Lassen Family of routing products is designed for facilities that require compact frame sizes and value pricing. These two products in the Lassen family meet our HD and digital customers needs by handling both HD and SDI/DVB-ASI signals." The Lassen 3232HDS and 1616HDS HD/SDI/DVB-ASI models are designed for forward-looking broadcast and postproduction facilities preparing for transition to HD. The 3232HDS and 1616HDS measure 3RU and 2RU respectively, with digital video boards that pass HD (SMPTE 292) and SDI (SMPTE 259)/DVB-ASI. Video boards for these models have a data rate up to 1.485 Gbps and employ BNC connectors. The Lassen 3232HDS and 1616HDS offer adjustable audio gain & attenuation on a per-channel basis. Like other routing switchers in the Lassen family, 3232HDS, and 1616HDS offer the ability to select from Sierra Video Systems' full line of advanced, programmable SCP control panels, and have built-in RS-232/RS-422 control. These routing switchers are targeted for delivery in June 2005.
