FSL International form partnership with TV Set

FSL International, UK distributors of a wide range of competitively priced professional video heads, have formed an engineering partnership with London based TV Set.
FSL has already established a growing business based on direct sales of video heads to broadcasters and post houses, all of whom enjoy significant cost savings as a result.
Until now, however, it has been difficult for clients who outsource VTR maintenance to benefit from FSL’s prices. The new engineering partnership with TV Set now makes that possible, with product cost savings being passed back to the client.
The standard 1,000 hour and 3,000 hour head-change services are offered for all Digital Betacam and Betacam SP machines. The condition of each machine is carefully assessed and only those parts requiring replacement are generally fitted, with guarantees on the new heads exceeding those offered on the Sony product. The aim is to save the client costs both on the heads and the associated parts wherever possible. As well as offering collection, delivery and competitive replacement machine hire if required, TV Set aims for a three day turnaround on all head changes.
Other servicing is also available which allows clients to have a single maintenance company for all products.
TV Set comes well qualified as an engineering partner, having been servicing broadcast kit for major facilities and transmission houses for over 15 years.
